    • Please note that this process is for porcelain or tile fixtures. The process for fiberglass, Formica, cultured marble is very similar to this.

  • Before We Arrive

    Clean equals fast
Please clear all surfaces and areas where work will be done and remove all items from tubs, showers and counters or areas which we will be working. The better the area is cleared the faster we can get the job done.

Please move all furniture and items like paintings, vases, or any decorative (knick knacks) items 8-10 feet from work area. There may be an additional charge in some cases where there is an unusual amount of items that need to be protected.

Tubs, showers and walls do not need to be cleaned before we arrive. Our process of cleaning and treating the surface will take care of the cleaning so you don’t have to.

  • Care & Maintenance

    Clean with Dish Washing Soap
By following the guidelines listed below, you will be assured many years of trouble-free service.

DO NOT use the surface for the time specified by us. Although the refinished surface can be put back into full use after this time, the surface will actually require up to 10 days to completely cure. Please observe the following:

DO NOT use any abrasive cleaners on or near the refinished surface. Your new glossy finish is easily cleaned with any mild liquid cleanser. In general, any cleaner approved for use on acrylic surfaces is okay to us

DO NOT use any abrasive scrubbing pads, such as ScotchBrite or any similar scrubbing pads, as this will scratch the new surface with repeated use.

DO NOT drop sharp or heavy objects on the finish. Although porcelain and fiberglass tub are very sturdy dropping very heavy items could damage the surface.

DO NOT have leaky faucets. They should be properly maintained by the owner and user, to protect the new surface. Leaky faucets may leave rust and hard water stains on the new finish.

DO NOT Hair dyes or drain openers which may stain the new finish.  Introduction of any of these chemicals onto the finish would be considered neglect and possibly void any warranty given to you.

DO NOTuse a rubber bath mat. We can apply a permanent non skid bottom (slightly extra charge) to the finish when we are reglazing. Rubber mats could be a safety hazard and are unsanitary.

  • DO NOT use abrasive cleansers. No S-O-S pads. No Comet. No razors. NO ABRASIVES AT ALL! The tub will clean easily with spray cleaners and a soft sponge.
  • DO NOT let workers stand in a reglazed tub with their shoes on. Have them remove shoes & put a soft towel down.DO USE Lysol Tile Cleaner – Mr. Clean – Fantastic -Dow Scrub Free – Fantastic – Windex -Mr Clean -Dish Washing Soaps – Dawn – Joy – Ivory

NO POWDERS, NO ABRASIVES like Ajax or Comet, just a soft sponge will do.

REMEMBER, if you treat your new surface with respect, clean it regularly, and follow the above guidelines, your fixture will stay shiny and bright, and give you many years of trouble-free service.
